Jenna walks down the hallway of the school, she contemplates her mature decision not to tell Matty she still loved him; As Jenna walks students perform “promposals”. 
As Sergio drops her off at school, Sadie avoids Darlene calls and as Sergio tries to talk to her about the food truck but she shuts him down and leaves; Sergio makes a call to someone.
Sadie tells Sergio that didn't really mean that they should break up then admits to being stressed because her mother and promises to be better but he doesn't believe her and breaks up with her.
Taking Jake's advice on asking someone to the prom who you love, Jenna makes her own “promposal” to Tamara; Sadie tells Matty Sergio broke up with her, he comforts her then asks her to prom.
As Jenna, Matty and the rest of prom court pose for photos, Jenna begins to panic after asking Matty to pose for the picture with her and switches with Heather Lee for Kyle as her partner.
Matty & Jenna are forced dance at prom-court practice by Lissa; Matty tells Jenna that understands that she doesn't want him to ask her to prom, she tries to explain but he leaves.
In the school library, Jake performs his own promposal and asks Gabby to the prom.
