In surgery, AJ and Randolph discuss why they either of them aren't Chief of Surgery then boost the confidence of one another when they begin to loss their patient. 
Conrad drops Gigi off at school at the hospital where he bumps into Amber who hits on him as they talk about their children.
Randolph meets Kit for lunch at Chastain's upscale restaurant where they discuss his and AJ's new surgical coach, Dr. Sofia DeSoto.
Randolph stops by the labs and tries Sofia's suggestion of using his ambidextrous nature to the best of his ability and switch up his hands during surgery which he begins to practice on medical dummy.
Gigi draws with her old daycare teacher Marion at pre-school when Conrad stops by to check-in on her.
Marion gives Gigi her own nurses kit to play with after expressing the want to become a nurse like her mother; Conrad expresses to Billie that he wants to take her advice on dating again then precedes to ask Marion to go get ice cream with him and Gigi.
