Connie is bid farewell by Clifford as he changes into his uniform and pledges to write her letters from the front lines. 
Clifford is pushed in his wheelchair until they are in front of the house, at which point Connie decides to leave him behind.
Connie gets up from the table and goes upstairs, where she picks up a pair of scissors and takes down the paintings.
When Connie's pals arrive, they let Clifford know that she's not feeling well.
Prior to enjoying herself on the couch, Connie stands naked in front of the mirror.
A spare key to the cottage is given to Connie by Oliver. Connie observes the chicks as they emerge.
Oliver and Connie spend the night in the woods together after visiting Mrs. Flint.
Several scenes of Connie and Oliver having sexual relations and spending time together at his cabin are shown.
Oliver and Connie take off their clothes and run through the rain barefoot.
When Connie is out alone in Venice and she starts to feel people gazing at her because of her growing baby belly, she asks her sister to return to London because she feels uncomfortable. After a few months of not hearing from Oliver, Connie receives a letter from him.
Once again together, Oliver and Connie embrace. This is the first song on the end-credits.
