At a skate park in her hometown, Clawdeen enjoys herself a skate session amongst human though cloaked with a hoodie until she bumps into another skateboarder and her monster status is revealed.

Clawdeen makes her way through the magical portal has her mom had done many years before her; Existing the portal and late, Clawdeen rushes into the school and finds herself for the first time amongst other monsters; (continues) Draculaura arrives with her famous father, Dracula, who demands she have an exemplary performance at the school when she wants to just find herself; a 15 days old, Frank Stein arrives at the school boldly introducing herself to any and all in the hopes of making friends; Cleo de Nile and bestie, Lagoona Blue reunite with Cleo dishes that Gorgon boyfriend, Deuce, broke up with her during the summer; Best friends, Duece Gorgon and elemental, Heath Burns, reunite with Deuce informing his friend that he's turning over a new leaf and avoiding mischief.

Announcements are made with the school; Abbey Bominable picks up a order at The Coffin Bean while checking her socials; at the cafe, Draulaura, Clawdeen and Frankie go over the things they'll need for the 'Mist of Releasing' powder spell including the ingredients; Frankie reveals information on Bloodgood's habits that will allow them get Ogre bone shavings from her prized mug.

A witch watches Draculaura and company through her crystal ball and proclaims that Draculaura is the key to destroying all vampires once and for all.
